CivTechSA and the SmartSA partners have teamed up to share datasets with the public in order to connect communities, ideas, and data to improve the quality of life today as we build a smarter tomorrow by hosting our annual Datathon Competition on June 28th-30th!
Our challenge areas focus on Affordability, Environmental Quality, and Access to Services.
We encourage developers, engineers, data scientists, and civic technologists to apply (no more than 6 people per team). Be on the lookout because we will be accepting team proposals soon!

Final teams will be announced June 14th and notified via email so stay tuned!

The final 7 teams will compete throughout the weekend and present to the SmartSA judging panel for a chance to win cash prizes and awards.
