CivTechSA’s 2019 Residents

At CivTechSA, we’re honored to bring two potential solutions to the City of San Antonio through our Residency Program. Today kicks off the 16-week journey with our residents and their respective departments. Have you read up about our residents and know what they plan on executing?

They are tackling Challenge #5 to find a solution for San Antonio’s homeless population and for the United States. Their goal is to create a “universal platform” for the Department of Human Services (DHS) to track encampments. Their mission focuses on creating technologies that connect underserved communities with the necessary resources.

They will be addressing Challenge #3 for the Neighborhood & Housing Services Department (NHSD) on finding a solution for affordable housing in San Antonio. The goal is to create a “one-stop-shop” approach that provides a single portal of entry for residents, developers, and city leaders alike to connect and locate available affordable housing.

We are extremely excited for our residents as they embark on this journey. The next 16-weeks will fly by for our residents and City Departments! Stay up to date with our residents through our social media and be on the lookout for the announcement of our Demo Day.
